Gracie and Freddie were very close. They had they're moments, like every brother and sister especially if they were not on the same side at games or threatening to unfriend each other on minecraft! Generally, they really got on. Gracie really looked up to Freddie, copied what he liked, particularly on anything relating to the Ipad, they often both lay on the sofa together playing the samegame, not necissarily talking out loud but joined on roblox or similar.

They had the same sense of humor, generally relating to Daddies smelly backside or toxic gas cloud as they named it! Watching them laugh together was hilarious and pretty infectious even if I was the one they were laughing at.

Freddie was great when Gracie went through treatment. He come to visit her in hospital and never treated her any differently, even with the central line, when she was hooked up to machines orwhen she lost her hair

We never really got the chance to prepare Freddie before Gracie passed away. He knew she was very ill, but he was still very shocked when we told him. It was so hard to explain to him but he has dealt with everything so well so far. He often talks about her, especially when we see a butterfly or a bird that comes close to us. Its always a Gru, and i think that this helps all of us a little, to believe she is still around and comes back from time to time to check on us.

Freddie decided to raise some money for cancer research in the first weeks after Gracie died. He said he wanted to help find a cure for cancer to stop other children having to go through the same as Gracie. St Andrews were great and helped him and his friends set up a charity bake sale. They did brilliantly and raised £350!

So proud of Freddie, he was and always will be alovely, caring brother to Gracie and i know he willalways remember his little sister Gru!
