Radio lollipop competition

The Radio Lollipop volunteers came round the children's wards most evenings making balloons and playing games to try to cheer up thd children on treatment. One of the last stays in hospital we had, they were doing a storyboard competition which Gracie decided she wanted to enter. Unfortunately, We found out about ten minutes before they were announcing the winner on the hospital Radio, so we had a mad rush to create the story of Henry and Bob, the fish astronauts, who went on a trip to the moon. (Neither of us had had much sleep so we were a bit all over the place, hence the crazy story) Anyway, we managed to finish it and I gave it to the girls from the radio. About five minutes later, about four people turned up at Gracie's bed with a winners medal and a massive prize. She won first prize!! She was so happy! XOX
